ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

Accessibility at FrancesWest&Co

We are committed to making this website usable for everyone, designing with a Human First lens and continuously improving as standards and tools evolve.

Our commitment

FrancesWest&Co was founded on a Human First belief: technology and the experiences built on it should work for everyone, regardless of age or ability. We hold this website to that same standard and treat accessibility as an ongoing practice, not a one-time checklist.

Conformance target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These internationally recognized guidelines help make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of abilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive differences.

Measures we take

  • Semantic, structured HTML and clear heading order so the site can be navigated by screen readers and the keyboard alone.
  • Color combinations and text sizes chosen for legible contrast, with body text set at a comfortable reading size.
  • Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images, and visible focus styles for interactive elements.
  • A responsive layout that supports zoom and reflow on phones, tablets, and desktops.
  • Respect for the “reduced motion” system setting, which pauses non-essential animation.
  • Captions available on embedded video.

Known limitations

Some embedded third-party content (such as video players) and downloadable documents may not yet fully meet every Level AA criterion. We are working to improve these and welcome notice of any barriers you encounter.
